I am glad to inform you that Dr.K.Anuradha and Dr.S.Mohanagiri have planned to bring out a book on “Current trends in English Language Teaching ” As rightly pointed out by “"Acquisition requires meaningful interaction in the target language – natural communication – in which speakers are concerned not with the form of their utterances but with the messages they are conveying and understanding."Stephen Krashen. English language teaching is one of major epitome of the present global scenario which always yields a potential field of research to both researchers and academicians. Hence the proposed book aims at bringing out the different levels of language teaching and new trends – including phases of Change in the Goal of Teaching English, Early Start in Teaching English, and Change in the Approach to Teaching Culture, Change in Teaching Content and Test Design, E-Learning Strategic Teaching and Learning and new methods and approach, etc. – as portrayed by the ELT experts across the world and the techniques employed by them in explicating and theorizing those aspects
Unpublished PAPERS ARE INVITED from scholars, critics and academicians, reflecting scholarly and critical approach towards the central theme of the book. Papers will be selected through Blind Peer Review system. Contributors will be informed regarding the selection of the papers through email. The book will be published by a reputed Publishing House with an ISBN number. JUNE 30th is the last date for submitting articles.
