Sukhadia University Journal of English Literary Studies (SUJELS) is a peer reviewed international research journal for publication of original research papers/reviews/short creative writings in the field of literature, culture and media studies. The journal is at parity with other International Journals.

Call for Papers

Sukhadia University Journal of English Literary Studies (SUJELS), an official publication of Department of English, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur  INDIA invites papers for its first issue which is scheduled for publication in the Golden Jubillee Year 2012.

Papers may be submitted in the following areas:

English literature

Comparative literature

Literature and Film studies

Culture Studies

The last date for submission of the manuscripts is: 30 January, 2013

Guidelines for Authors 

The original research papers/reviews/short creative writings may be submitted, preferably online or in CD along with duplicate hard copies to:

 Editor, Sukhadia University Journal of English Literary Studies (SUJELS) Department of English, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.  INDIA . An e-mail will be preferred for all the correspondence.

The research papers should be in English in Times New Roman (font size 12, space 1.5). Authors should provide the names of three referees along with the manuscript. Submission of the paper implies that the paper/review article has not been submitted for publication and has not been published elsewhere. The research papers/review articles/short creative writings would be accepted after proper reviewing and on the final recommendation of the Editor. 
The authors should go through the Guidelines for Authors and make sure that their submission is in correct format. The correspondence queries/questions/feedbacks should be directed to the Editor,

The Title page should contain short, specific and informative Title, Author/s names and their full addresses, Name of the corresponding author, E-mail id, Phone no., Fax no., Abstract of not more than 150 words, Key-words.

The Paper: The word limit for the research papers/articles is 3000- 5000 words.

Manuscripts should follow the latest MLA Handbook and should be sent to the Editor in MS Word. It should also contain the writer's brief bio-data including their institutional affiliation and contact details on a separate sheet.

Proofs: Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author and should be returned within five days of receipt by e-mail.  Other contributions
The book reviews, announcements of forthcoming seminars/conferences and their reports, letters to the editor  would also be considered for publication.
