Call for Papers

Papers may be presented on any one of the Subject areas.
● Papers on Translation Theory should focus on at least one translated text for illustrating
the problems of translation.
● Papers on Comparative Literature may explore texts and contexts cutting across genres, time-periods and authors from all over the Globe.

Dates: 18th, 19th and 20th April, 2014.

Venue: Kolkata, at Jibonananda Sabhaghar, W. B. Govt. Arts Complex, Nandan. (Beside Rabindra Sadan Metro station).

● Synopsis 250 words approx of intended paper should reach us by e-mail latest by 1st March, 2014.
● Acceptance or otherwise will be notified by e-mail within 10th March, 2014..
● Presentation time for each paper: Highlights only: 15 minutes.
● A total of 30 selected papers only can be accepted for the three days of the seminar.
Accepted papers should reach us by 7th April, 2014. Complete papers should be in MS word format with relevant documentation.
● Registration Fee: Rs.2000/- per participant payable after acceptance of paper. For research scholars and students Rs.1000/-. For foreign participants $200/-.
●The organizers will help participants with affordable accommodation in Kolkata during the conference dares.

A selection of papers presented may be printed in peer-reviewed ISSN/ISBN publications by July-August, 2014. (Conditions apply)
